River Hongbao celebrations kick off at Marina Bay

SINGAPORE: The annual River Hongbao festivities kicked off at the floating platform at Marina Bay on Saturday evening.
Gracing the occasion was Deputy Prime Minister Wong Kan Seng.
Visitors can look forward to the 680 red lanterns on display - all part of the elaborate lighting installations.
Other highlights include nightly performances and nightly firecracker firings for visitors to usher in the Lunar New Year with a bang.
