The picture painted here is pretty grim but that is the sad reality. I've witnessed many Sillypore or Malay-boleh guys married Viet gers, with veri high percentage not in happy endings. Kinda sorry for these guys as they ventured overseas to work and at the end of the days, wasted their hard earned monies away ...

The divorce rate is Singapore is more than 50% now. So even I married a Singaporean, I might lose everything also because of the woman charter in Singapore Law.
In Vietnam, I also witness many wonderful couples. As I said, I mixed with the local more. I feel that it is all about oneself. There are people I know that married a whore and still living happily as a couple till the day he died at 80+ with 10 children.
