Hi brothers,

I went through the HCM thread and found quite a lot of useful information. I'll be going down to HCM next week for business. I'll be staying at Kingstar Hotel at Thai Van Lung St District 1. I'm a newbie in HCMC.

This would only be my 2nd time there. The first time I was brought to quite a good massage parlour cum spa. Would probably visit the place again. Anywhere to have a drink and perhaps get lucky near my hotel area within walking distance? I've noted the names and list of places but I don't exactly know where to start.

Le Than Thon stretch seems to be for the well-heeled foreigners. The prices are very steep but a large number of naughty bars there. I'd appreciate some pointers to some cheaper places for a beer or two and perhaps get lucky.
