Low season is coming and there are bound to be changes in Pattaya. The more the local mayor try to clean up the place , the more the bars flourish! There is local crackdown on prostitution and already one Boyztown agogo owner has already been hauled up to the police station for tomyum soup and bread.
Peppermint's lease is up and will move downstairs. Meanwhile , i assume the girls will go work in sister clubs Happy , Beach Club and affliliate Baccara. The space Peppermint is occupying now will be an extension of Marine Disco. Peppermint's group also bought Sisterz so it be interesting to see if they become the King's Group of Pattaya; hope they dont bring in Katoeys like Kings!
If you talk to some of the girls , especially FLers , some will tell you about Orchard Towers and off course the Thai Discos in Singapore. This is becasue a lot of them in the pattaya scene come here during low season to make more money.
A lot of smaller bars and agogos are springing up all the time all over the place and as usual , i recommend tourist staying longer than 5 days to check out the other areas.
However Walking street is still the place to be for short-trippers
Thanks to all those up and down me. It actually doesnt make any difference even if I am negative. Point cant buy me another trip to Pattaya!
Anyone who saw the show 'Pay It Forward' (staring Helen Hunt , Kelvin Spacy and Haley Joel 'I see dead people' Osment) will understand that eventually a good deed (or advise in this case) will come back and help you when you need it the most.
