I dun know what you meant by final confirmation letter of divorce, but if its the decree nisi, then no choice. However, if you are still in the process of divorce then the first most important thing is to make up with your family.

The impact of divorce is tremedous on the children.
I have first hand experience with my son from previous marriage. The child are highly prompt to keep to himself, neglect study and sometimes even commit petty crime. All these cos they do not have a complete family.

IMHO, your debt is nowhere compare to losing your own family.

If its bank loan, then you can lay all your cards on the table and negiotiate a re-payment plan with them. They really dun want to sue you unless you wont even coorporate.
