Also let me relate what happened in HCMC during one of my visits 2 month back.
First few visits to HCM, i felt that it's a fun place and aint so bad in terms of its safety. 2 months back, i stayed in one of the hotel near Ben Thanh market (A&EM) and i met a group of overseas vietnameses. We were talking in hotel eating place near the reception in the afternoon. And they were talking about their plan for the night. Some of them said they already had plan with their bx. One of the guy, big muscle and full of tattoos asked whether i want to join drinking. I said, i need to go to Mui Ne early in morning, want to sleep early.
Night time after came back from dinner and coffee with my gf, we came back to hotel and were sitting in eating place by the windows. We saw the the big muscle VK with no shirt drunk being carried by two of his friends, his head, arm and legs covered in blood. We followed them upstair, the blood trails all over the lobby floor and lift. My gf so scared, can see her scary face trying to avoid stepping on the blood while keep on asking what happen, what happen.
I was wondering and asking why not bring him to hospital. My gf just dragged and rushed me head up to our room and locked the door. After came back from Mui Ne, i didnt see them so i really dont know what happened.
After seeing that incident, i am a little bit more careful on where to go and behave in VN.
