Actually there was a economic report done not long ago, it stated that the demand generated by vietnam's population is not enough to sustain their own economy. The income of vietnamese have not reached the level that will generate enough demand. China's population and their income have reached a certain level where increase in local demand will generate economic growth. Vietnam depends on a lot on tourism nowadays, especially when their economy has been slowing down drastically. I am sure theme parks will attract tourists which in turn will generate more revenue for their government.
