but just to recount bad exp last week.....we take unlicensed car from nagoya hill to harbourbay.....my buddy think worth 20k....bargain n this chap say ok.....before hop on confirm with him...he nod....reach there pay 20k...he make noise n say 30k!!!

That is why better to take licensed ones if you are not familiar with Batam. Or at least travel in a group. A few men together, the driver dare not do much, within the city area.
If go else where where they say"cari kampong cewek muda".... Better not. Even I myself seldom step into their kampong, unless on business issues, and I have my worker with me to go too.
So for brothers who are not familiar and lagi worse, no bahasa, better be safe than sorry.
