Other than those obvious case or serious case relating to drugs or firearm, they base whether refused entry or whatsoever on the system (if they kanna ica before).... I experience twice... one at airport another at checkpoint... both chopped roi... then said cat A case, need to prefer to interviewing officer... and both time, the interviewing officer said system indicate no extension or denied entry... after pleading and pleading, then 1 allowed 1 week stay, another allowed 2 days stay, for my ex-bx to settle whatsoever reason and go back...
no proof of wrong doings but they just suspect... from my knowledge, in HQ there's a group of people who will detect entry pattern and base on the guideline, censor out those possible wls...
