Ling: I dun do tat work, i will only do with another person if the other person is nice to me, and i like tht person, i wont do tat for money.
Me: ic. tats nice. u have more feel tat way.
Ling: u are nice to me.

I was surprised as I tot i never did anything nice to her but maybe it my courteous and gentle way of speaking to her over the weeks and think to myself: Tio liao!

Me: nice to you also useless, becoz u dun like me.
Ling: I find you quite nice as a person, always speak to me nicely. so i quite like u too.

at that point, i took that as a cue to make my advances.
