Usually we see Europeans doing it coz I guess we are just a 2 hour plane ride away? Also as Asians "retirement villages" are a new concept for us but seeing Spore's aging population and more immigrants & foreign workers coming every month Bro Cooler's idea is good... rent out your house (hopefully by then mortgage fully paid) to a foreigner, collect the rent to fund your stay in Patts!
