I think you need to Settle your career and finance first. If retail line still no luck for you, why not try another indudustry? There are still alot of jobs that no need much education but still give quite a decent pay, like security guard, taxi driver, logistic etc. I know they always in need of people.
Did you buy a HDB flat when you get married? If have, since your wife is not here, why not rent out the flat and stay with your parents? This will lessen your burden abit.
As for your studies, it know is hard to communicate with your coursemate because of the generation gap. But try your best to complete it. If you really cannot complete it or fail your course, dun despair. Like i said, there is still alot of jobs still in need of people. Take course like taxi course, or class 4 license course. All this course can secured job with quite a decent salary and no need any much qualification. Then from there, try to look for other alternative to earn second income, like maybe start a small business, do sideline etc. Nowadays alot of ppl sell online thing to earn extra money as a partime.
As for your wife, is it really necessary to give 1k so much? Why not totally cut connection with her and don't remit any money for her? MIA from her. What pass is she holding now? If currently she is not holding any pass, dun apply for her any pass/visa to come back to singapore. I think it will save you quite a trouble and money also. Dun bother about her life over there. She already have her PRC boyfriend to take of her liao.. And tell you something, nowadays PRC ppl alot are rich ppl, acting poor in Singapore.
