Who can clarify H81 admission rule?

Alright it seem now checking in SG largest BHotel chain now machiam SOC, got what simi rule need this and that.... i be the first to admit: i dont use H81 so often and not so variety, so what exactly is the new law?

Recieved latest (news?)

Now require physically see the 2nd person at counter before check in

(over heard the last time i at H81)
Counter staff was telling some guy the rule now change, now passport not allow for entry except PR lah etc etc...... police change the rule...

Any seasoned H81ers to assists?

(no, its not school holidays: everyday is a holiday for us (sometimes)

sorry to add in and ask as well . what is the legal age of getting a room there for transit ? I am just curious ! I am in my 30s

Bro, I believe bro TS is referring to transit checking in. Actually, I hav been looking arnd for the answer too. Apparently it applies to all budget hotels like 81 and Fragrance.

Recently , I did used my singapore passport to check in and no problems ley .

Hi bro,

Have been to hotel81 a couple of time (think at least more than 5 times).. with local gals.. the experience is when u wan book a room for short hour (e.g 2 hrs).. they will ask u whether the room is used by u alone or with anyone else. At this point, if u wan u can say alone, but if later they found anyone else enter ur room, (if not wrong), they will ask u to book out.

Normally will tell hv a gal friend along.. they say will need to see her ic... so normally if reach hotel earlier, will just wait for gal friend at the counter area, then when she come, then book the room.. so far, is they just take a look at gal friend IC, did not register using her IC.. think so long ur gal friend is a local.. then should not have problems get the room...

but so far the hotel 81 that mentioned above is the one at kovan n bencoolen.. so not sure other hotel 81 have different rules or practices or not...

Ts.. Recently went to H81.. i give them my parnter i/c .. they request to see her as well

.. Guess they worried we use other ppl ic to check in with another gal..

H81 standard, $30/- 2hr.
Both must show face at counter.
1 of u must sign-in.
IC/passport required.
No question ask unless room full they'll ask if u wanna wait or they help u booked the nearest H81 (if they hav another branch 1 or 2 streets away.)
Jus used their facilities last Sat.
