Rongxiang's Helping Out
Okay perhaps my story in this way.
A fortune telling suggests that in my past life I was a buddhist nun, another suggested that I would explore China and Vietnam markets as part of progression, I never really bought any of that malarkey although it did flattered my ego somewhat it got in my way of personal psiritual endeavour subtly. I am a computer engineer by training, buddhist follower by enforcing, I work in front of machines since I was a kid 2 decades ago, and these days any machine without the internet is practically infeasible in getting any work done if at all. The internet has lately done away with all the pirated CD shops that many grew up with, as a kid paying S$6 til S$20 over a pirated game or software either at Sim Lim or in the heartlands was what kept many going till the internet got so fast that even the miserable S$6 of software pirates are earned by Singtel and M1. So Mr LHL started the casinos around the same time, he put himself 'ultiamtely responsible' over vices - I personally associate whorehouses with casinos, if we have one social inconvenience we also have the other, if the government starts and runs one indirectly they also are starting and running the other - so I completed my officerhoods and scholarships then quit my civil service job so that I can marry an aging hooker and I did identify one such girl whom I will marry, perhaps with her mutual consent. Because my mother insists I vote the ruling party specifically my zone's MP Mdm Tin Peiling the coming elections, if I listen to my mother I ended up back here because either her Guanyin needs me back here or I need my Guanyins to wear back their clothes. My GRC is where you have grassroots that look after Geylang over the recent years since the last election, so MP Fatimah Lateef cajoled me in helping out with her ward, I hopped elsewhere into Ang Mo Kio, Bouna Vista and Sembawang instead because I will side with prostitutes if you put one beside a politician. :`) So, running around the island in circles reemployed me in another capacity, starting off somewhere here at SBF:

Re: Rongxiang's Helping Out
Somebody gave me an extra point, my motivation is that of staying at zero, or even if I had a spare point I was less than interested in keeping it would rather have given you that point if you found yourself deserving, anyways somebody took away that 1 point on my behalf so it makes me as ease again.
If you know why the literatis can be a nuisance at times including me-I-myself, as a child they said that because I was poor I gotta study hard so that I can become successful in future or even rich or famous, the getting of the beautiful girlfriend, wife, or even bride was my own imagination. So I told my elders, ranging from my now retired primary school principal till the latest NUS SoC professor that wanted me attending an interview punctually over this week, apart from the fact that my ancestors' promises still are hardly fulfilled yet, if they give me bits and pieces of good things here and there, take for instance the 1 spare point at SBF, or the couple of coins that my doting mother left in my sling bag because she was upset that I walk around the neighbourhood or island without any cash, I love my good women, of course I respect my good men too, the thing is of course, Quote:

Re: Rongxiang's Helping Out
If you ask me why, it's because the biggest temple on this island Kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery just spent S$35 million on a Buddhist college so that we can accept 40 nuns per year at their experimental nunnery - they tell me, they'll pay for novice nuns' food, lodging, and everything under the sun, as long as they get their hair shaven and don a grey robe - if I object women shaving off their hair it's bad karma in their temple's sense, if I support women having sex at temples with men it's worse.
If I or whatever is in a 'we' offload PM Lee Hsien Loong during this year's possible elections, now I ask you he has all his education done overseas in the West, do we have any local from a China, Japan or Russia university with a heavier education representing the opposition that can win the PM from PM Lee this year - last round's Tin versus Seah was seriously sia sway you know, wabiang eh one Kate Spade advocate versus one all-blue workers' girlfriend - giving the benefit of the doubt at least both of them can talk better than Roy Ngerng, why on earth will the world want me to vote Roy Ngerng if he joins NSP at Marine Parade and stands opposite ESM Goh this year, one is a good-to-be-crucified 33-year-old LBGT taurian while the other is an aging Taurian 'recovered' from prostrate cancer, wabiang eh the plot of land at Seng Kang only $5 million if Seng Kang don't like columbaria just go and park one at City Harvest Church at Nanyang loh, NTU so many hostelite kids make them go CHC clean columbaria if Sengkang not enough willing volunteers lah! These Buddhists or Asians are making religious movies / videos / animes / cartoons / documentaries / softwares and they on average cost more than my PM's annual salary after you watch China Wine do you need Newwater, ah drink loh, watch loh, money already spent liao mah, millions of dollars you know more expensive than China Wine knn. |

Re: Rongxiang's Helping Out

TS are u in the right forum?
That said $35million to convert 40nuns a year sounds like poor investment to me. Besides the building needs upgrades & maintenance over the years. |

Re: Rongxiang's Helping Out
MP Tin Pei Ling just announced publicly less than 3 hours ago over Facebook that she just gotten pregnant, 4 months old. I answer a question with another question: is her pregnancy political in nature and therefore requiring the attention of Facebook audiences including PAP voters, or is her pregnancy her own domestic or personal matter just as nuns choosing celibacy should be.

Re: Rongxiang's Helping Out
As some may already be aware and mindful of, the past week saw the Alcohol bill kicking in, and all are forbidden from drinking or even selling alcohol in public in Singapore between 10:30pm onwards till 7am or so, iirc. Coffee shops have closed slightly earlier in my said neighbourhood, two days ago as I visited the northern-most tip of Singapore where Woodlands Customs is, the Sheng Siong supermarket opposite the checkpoint had put up a notice indicating this as well while an elderly guy started carrying off dozens of beer in plastic bags while also buying dozens of hot otahs as well.
Last evening PAP MP Fatimah Lateef is depicted on TV news as walking around the Marine Parade neighbourhood apparently the Geylang area as well, while there are several policemen either in uniform or collared muftis recorded as admonishing or counseling pedestrians or foreign workers who were seen drinking alcohol in picnic-like configurations. It was also said that youths in Clarke Quay area are adjourning elsewhere getting their alcoholic beverages during the nights. I have lived with bubble gum bans as long as I can remember, frankly when alcohol is legally outlawed during the evenings, having known my father who simply had this passion for returning home to my mother's cuddles in the wee hours of the night totally drunk, in my approximate words it feel as if legislation has taken over what would have been my duty as part of spiritual cultivation, i.e. coping with one's parents. Imposing laws on alcohol consumption is something that.. feels quite meaningless to me, yet the fact that it has happened, it really seemed to have taken place in Singapore. :`) Open some casinos and amusement parks with hotels, take responsibility over gambling with opt-out features, encourage baby making, encourage regulated foreign talent imports before 2030, maintain high employment, education and national income statistics, forbid commercialization of columbaria, honor pioneering generations especially with healthcare frameworks, send off a Most Important Founding Father in a crematorium, regularly give out consumption-pattern vouchers, and hmm.. now.. forbid my father and perhaps others' from drinking alcohol outdoors in the night. Namo Amituofo? Praise the good Lord? Moving this thread out while I still abstain from beef: http://adoptacow.herobo.com With thanks, imho, perhaps, rongxiang |

Re: Rongxiang's Helping Out
I'm still confused with what you depict about Buddhism here, but one thing is for sure, if you can control yourself, you don't need any other things to control you.
The casino is built there, if you can control yourself, you can don't go in, henceforth, you have achieved enlightenment. The Singapore Pools counter is built, if you can control yourself, you won't go in and place bet, donating your money for others to win, and you've achieved enlightenment. The APB brewed beer, shops and supermarts sells them, if you control yourself, you can't taste beer, there you go, you've achieved enlightenment. The sex forum is here, if you control yourself, you never cum here and read it, see that, you've achieved enlightenment. But if you cannot control yourself, whatever bloody hell rules or regulations also cannot stop you from committing yourself to vices and in the end you've sinned. If people not greedy, will all be happy? If people are not rich, will they be happy? See, if you understand, then you've achieved enlightenment.
