Dear Bros

I have been inspired to write about some stories involving doctors after reading the other thread on doctors. I am not from the medical field and the stories will be based on my fertile imaginations.

As I need to flesh out the story line so that the story appears credible, hope bros bear with me as the story develops slowly.

The Drug Rep

Janet waited impatiently outside Dr Wilson Ng’s urology clinic at a major hospital. She had seen the last patient, an old man walking into the clinic. The old man had tried to chat up with the people around him and shared with them his life story.

From past experiences, she knew that some patients like the old man would likely be wasting a fair bit of Dr Wilson’s time. But soon it will be her turn as she looked around to see whether any drug reps from other drug companies hanging around waiting to see Dr Wilson.

She had come well prepared with some curry puffs for the doctor from Old Chang Kee at the hospital cafeteria. As she anxiously awaited her turn, she ran through her mind how she would present her proposal to Dr Wilson.

After 10 excruciating minutes, the door opened and the old man came ambling out. Janet quickly took up her position at the door. After checking that her lipstick, make-up are in order, she stretched down her jacket, sucked in a deep breath and stuck out her chest so as to make her smallish boobs appeared larger.

Two rapid knocks on the door and she quickly slithered into Dr Wilson’s room. Dr Wilson looked up from his paperwork, flashed her a ghost of a smile and returned to his work.

As Dr Wilson was doing his work, Janet took the opportunity appraised Dr Wilson. He is a 28 year old Medical Officer who is doing his term at the Urology Dept. She had chatted with the nursing sister previously to dig for his background and found out that he is still unattached and come from a wealthy family. His father is a well-known cardiologist running his own practice and his mother is a paediatrician in the same hospital. But the word on the grapevine is that the parents are rather strict with him even he is already an adult.

Dr Wilson is quite handsome and would make quite a good catch for any drug rep or nurse. She had previously overheard two drug reps talking about him outside the clinic and were commiserating about their failure to invite him out for dinner.

Janet is aware that her competitors would pose quite a challenge, as they are just as pretty as her. There are many well-educated and pretty females working as drug reps and it is a known fact that their primary objective is to ensnare a rich doctor for an easy life. She will be the envy of all her friends and relatives. Her parents would be proud that their daughter is married to a doctor.

A slight cough from Dr Wilson brought Janet back from her daydreaming. ‘Hi Janet, what can I do for you?’ ‘Dr Wilson, I have brought some curry puffs for you, hope you will enjoy them’ ‘Thanks..Janet. You are looking good’. ‘Ah……thanks’ Janet blushed with happiness.

‘Dr Wilson, I have come to invite you for our seminar at Bali during the next weekend. We are launching our new drug SURECUM and our research director, Dr Still Strong is flying in from UK to brief on the research done on the drug. As you know, there have been a few papers published in the New England Journal, Lancelet etc about this new drug already. This drug will surely help many of your patients suffering from erectile dysfunction. Our company will be paying for the return ticket and accommodation as usual.’

Many thanks to the bros who upped my points. Here is the continuation of the story.......

Dr Wilson thought about the offer and felt that it is time to visit Bali again after his last visit with his parents some 12 months ago. Although he had met Janet a few times, he does not really know much about her. He had declined her frequent invitation for tea at the cafeteria, as he does not want his colleagues to gossip and to be spotted by his Mom.

He knows of many colleagues who had taken advantage of various drug reps but does have the courage to do anything. He has met his share of drug reps but Janet seems less pushy than the others.

As Dr Strong is a reputed scientist and researcher, he is sure his Mom would not object too strenuously to his trip. And so he hesitating said ‘OK. I will join you guys.’ ‘Oh great! It would be lovely having your company.’

As Janet left the hospital, she was filled with happiness that something might come out of the trip. She had worked hard to convince her manager that it would be beneficial to invite Dr Wilson even though the seminar is for specialists only. As he is only a junior doctor, he is not empowered to recommend a new drug to the medical board. She had lied to her manager that Dr Wilson’s Head had told her that he has great potential to be a good clinical urologist after his training. And her manager had finally relented agreed after someone else had withdrawn recently.

Janet had been a sexually active young woman with many suitors but she remains committed in her pursuit of a materialistic life. As such, she would maintained a secretive and temporarily relationship with any partners just to satisfy her sexual cravings. She was determined that her plan for Dr Wilson comes into fruition sooner than later.

On the Friday of the trip, Janet had taken the noon flight to Bali with 3 of her colleagues. She had planned to travel to Bali with Dr Wilson but her manager had delegated her the task of being in the setting up and welcoming party at the resort where the seminar is being held. But she has already schemed to have a room on the same floor as Dr Wilson once she arrived at the resort.

Janet was kept busy with the arrival of the delegates that she had did not have time to say hello to Dr Wilson when he arrived that evening. After having a late dinner she retired to her room with her roommate, Jeanne.

At around midnight when Jeanne was deep asleep, Janet quietly slipped out of her room. She slithered towards Dr Wilson’s room and pressed the doorbell. Again she pressed the doorbell when hearing no response from within.

A few moments later, as she heard the door opening from within, she changed her expression from that of trepidation to that which is pain-inflicted and started clutching her abdomen too.

‘Dr Wilson, can you pls help me. I am having severe abdominal cramps.’ ‘Ahh…ok come in but I do not know what help I can offer at this time’ said Dr Wilson trying his best to clear his drowsy mind. ‘Can I just lie down for a while?’ ‘Surrree’.

Can confirm it happens lots of time in the real world. My gf is a doctor working in the hospital and from the rumors flying around, the drug reps will do almost anything to get their drugs recommended by doctors in large hospitals.

The drug companies are not stupid either as they know sex still sells....
