Herpes got no cure!!! The symptom will cum & go, but nvr B stopped! If U have raw sex wif others can easily spread 2 them too!

herpes got no cure correct......it will be with u for life.....although the attacks will become less & less frequent and the symptoms less serious as the yrs go by.....it might also remain dormant altogether. Symptoms mostly likely r cold sores on penis n groin area n some cases in the gums of ur mouth as herpes can be spread by kissing....symptoms attack last anything from 1 day to a wk depending on recurring attacks then disappeared all together.....only when u hv attacks is when doctors can detect..... When symptoms appear refrain from all sexual activities.....herpes is not life-threatening but when a pregnant mother has an attack it could be deadly for the unborn baby.....herpes attacks can also be brought on by stress n emotions......

Sometimes there are no Symptons at all. Please see your local doctor to be sure.

Caused by:
Herpes simplex virus (HSV), mainly HSV type 2, but HSV type 1 is found to cause the disease too.

Transmitted by:
Sexual contact

Clinical manifestations:
First attack;
1. Starts with malaise, fever and local irritation
2. Followed by widespread painful tender vesicles affecting the genitals and rarely the anorectum.
3. Vesicles rupture, leaving erosions followed by further crops of lesions.
4. Regional lymph nodes swell.
5. 1st attacks heal in 2-4 weeks and are followed by painful recurrence.
Recurrent attacks;
1. Resemble 1st attacks but there is one cluster of lesions covering an area of about 1 cm sq, which heal in 3-10 days.

Management:
1. Lesions always heal and local saline bathing may be all that is necessary.
2. Aciclovir (an anti-viral drug), 200mg 5 times daily for 5 days by mouth, inhibits viral replication so if given early shortens 1st attacks.
3. Aciclovir is not prescribed for mild or infrequent recurrences.
