Want to be helpful? Your nic says it all liao!
If it's your hard earned money then you ought to be careful transferring money to a complete stranger!!!
Really when it comes to donation drives, nobody give any thought, a pussy ask for money, transferred without a blinking thought!
Go to her house or camp outside her house

This is quite difficult cos the bank will advise TS to settle himself with her. It's just like when you keyed in wrong digits and transferred money to a wrong acount. Apart from that, TS did say that he had done "few transfers already"...so it is very difficult to prove negligence of wrong account transferred few times in a row!

Just take it as a donation, you won't get your $$$ back, unless you know where she stay maybe you can go to her house, report police no use, if not just kiss your $$$ goodbye

I heard that anything below 10k, you may try to get help from Small Claim Court, and if not wrong, I think it's free. No harm trying......gd luck (especially for tonite ToTo).
ruth, but not for this, small clam court won't help, unless you are buying from a shop etc. not for sex transation

Small Claims Court handles commercial transactions with suppliers like renovation contractors, etc. Not personal or domestic like personal loans.
Time frame is within one year.
Not free, but like $10-$20 for individual-to-company, like $50 for company-to-company.
TS, What you can try: Is to get copies of your bank statement printouts of all your transfers to her account (sms messages from her asking you for the loans would be BEST!) Confront her or her family members i.e. parents (make sure she got no husband, if not big steak messup party). Also you must make very sure there is no pre-agreement of any sexual favors involved with the loan. Other than that, no agencies will be able to help you except pray that she will have a change of heart or treat it as a lesson!

Interesting angle. Is it correct that bank will advise TS to settle with transferee? What if someone really keyed in wrong account number and does not know who that belongs to, how to settle direct? So bank have to step in, right? As for multiple transactions, can say didn't realise because the so-called "actual" payee didn't raised the red flag. But need to find someone with a close-fit account number to make it sound real?
Also to continue from this angle, if someone receives money that is not meant for him/her, then this person must return the money. Cannot say that since it is in bank account, that person can just spend it. Is like found and picked up $500 from the roadside, must surrender to person who lost it or surrender it to police. When nobody claims, then money is yours to keep.

TS can "try" to explain to the bank and see what's the outcome. Perhaps this "key symbol" bank might go all the way to help him

Of cos, this is the right civil thing to do. We must not take money that doesn't belongs to us cos it might be an emergency fund from the sender

As above, reporting the "found" money to the nearest police post is the right thing to do. But then again..........How many would do that?
Brother, just be thinkful it was 2000 not 20000. Was a dumb move on your part. KC to the max. 1000's of times this plays out in sG society each day. Just let it be a lesson learnred. I think she could have strung you along for another 2000. If she gives you pussy tonight you will probably then say everything is fine. The real problem is no her but its you for being such a sucker and confusing your honiness with love and money. Just let it go.

Meaning that if TS wants to bluff his way that he keyed in the wrong number, then the bank or the police might ask: what was the actual bank number account that you were trying to transfer to? Then, of course TS has to come up with somebody's bank account number that is not too far off from the gal's bank account number, and that he copied down wrongly.
The second and third point is that, I believe, we cannot hold money or use money that does not belong to us. And this is upheld by law. Using another example, if someone remits $1000.00 to you, but the bank credited your account with $10,000, then under the law, you cannot use the $9000 that does not belong to you, and you would have to return it. This is an exception to this law, though, but irrelevant for now.

No comment on above method
IMHO it is better to be as honest and as detail, nothing but the truth as possible.
TS already made a mistake, do not let him to make another silly mistake cos the girl will be laughing even in her wet dreams
