I'm not sure why TS didn't marry him when she found out about the pregnancy? At least should comprain to his parents? Establish your line of support before carrying the baby to full term? Bad mistake , Thought this is basic logic... Law also can't do anything if the couple is not married, correct me if I'm wrong.

Not true, if DNA can prove the father, I think still liable for maintenance for upbringing of the child.

The father is Malaysian. So if he does not step foot into Singapore I think he is safe from being sued. Cooperation between Mudland and SG only extends to criminal offences and not civil suits. I could be wrong someone pls correct me if I am.

Yes you are absolutely right. The Malaysian father can be on the run and there will be nothing that TS can do about it here in SG.

True if he is not a WP or SP holder. Well then TS have to walk the journey alone and hopefully she will find happiness and security with someone else in future.

Juz think tat he is purposely to avoid u since u get pregnant n hv given ur saving to him liao. Juz hv a mentally prepare even u can find him, u oso can't get bk the money n he oso will shun his responsibility to b the father of this child.

Dun ever think of borrow money fm the loan shark no matter how bad ur situation is, their terribly high interest will kill u n the method of harassing for payment is terribly horrible, u n ur child will live in fear. Turn to ur family, relative, friends for help or any religious group if u hv. Dun sink into depression, talk to someone or call some helpline, there will b someone listen to ur woes n u will feel more better, remember ur mood will affect the baby.

Hi, thanks for all the encouragement and advice. Still no news of him now i had given up and decide to move on myself. Sadly i cant seek help from my relatives as im brought up by my grandma, some of my friends had provided some aid, had try looking for jobs but most wont employ me in my current state, manage to found a part time cashier job but sadly i had to quit after 3 days, cant stand standing for 8hrs straight, my back is killing me. Would be great help if anyone can recommend a part time desk bound job for the time being, im good with pc and have HR and accounts experience.

If you are a local then PM me for a job.

Words cannot describe how difficult it is to be a single mum. My suggestion is for you to consider putting your baby up for adoption. It may be cruel but if you are young with no relatives to help then your new family life can spiral into a serious disaster.

We can help to chip in for your new born but your next 3-5 years will be hell especially if you are penniless now. In fact, your next 12 months can be quite dire & watch out for depression.

If you want to know more about raising a baby then there are many who can advise.
