Bro sorry to hear u in such a state. No harm u can wait & see. But u should ask her when the 1st & subsequent installment? Then take it from there.

Transfer slips are not proof for IOU. You can make a police report provided if you can prove that the money is being loaned to her.

If not, there's nothing much the police can do for you. When the IO calls her, she can just say that you owed her money or she sold you something for $2K.

If she promised to return you through a few installments, just take it. It'll be better if you know where she stays n record down the phone conversation or save the text messages. Make sure in the phone conversation or text messages, she mentioned about borrowing $2k from you & will pay back the amount in how many instalments.
