Do you really trust anyone?

Is there anyone in your life that you trust totally without a doubt that you will give them the keys to your wealth ?

Also, do you trust anyone truly that you feel you can tell them your secrets and you know they will keep it for life?

If you do? appreciate if you can tell me why you trust them so much ? What did they do to gain that trust from you?

Firstly, common beliefs and value system.
Secondly.. mutual trust relationship in place, like "Joint and Several Guarantee". Either one can bring down the other equally.

I have frds I know will nv take a cent from what I entrusted them with.
Sometimes it's very tiring to keep doubting and guessing.
If the person is not trustworthy, the person is not worthy to be a frd

Ans: becos he is my other half. He proved it himself n thus earned d trust from me.
E.g. when he go drinking with his frds, he sure let me know his whereabouts.

My best buddy. One of the reason is we both share through up and down together. We hold each other secrets, and till this date. Our friendship is stronger than even my family member.

Up to the extend that I can pass her my atm card (with $ inside of course) and ask her draw cash for me etc.

I thought the natural answer will be your spouse, esp if you have children. Eventually, parents would (in most cases) give to their children.

My policy would be ''Trust but Verify'', even with my closer friends.

It's better to have some degree of skepticism, in my humble opinion.

Gotta balance things out, right?

If the above doesn't strike your fancy, you could go with the principle of equal exchange and see how things go from there (verify the exchange first, of course).

2) How do you know if what the person is the truth....maybe it was a well placed lie acting as truth so you might not be able to bring the person down as you thought but the other is able too....

How do you know they will never take a cent if entrusted with them? Experienced it before? Tried and tested?

People change when it involves large sums of money..... when we least expect it.

What if your ATM has 500,000 dollars and his has only 5,000 ? So does knowing each others passwords make you comfortable ?

Whats makes you so sure he won't betray your trust? tried and tested before? or just pure blind fate?

The reason why had two different questions on trust is that money & emotional secrets are two different types of secrets.

People change when it involves large sums of money, it has been proven over and over again through human history...so what you so sure the person won't change? Has the person over number of times proven his/her reliability and trust?

It is go great to have such a best buddy. Its a rare thing to have.

I am guessing both of you have gone through life struggles and also financially and each has helped the other through bad times and has show his/her trust with money and life.

For me, I have yet to meet a person that I totally trust, I trust some people to an extend and others not at all. Every person I have met over period of time has shown they want to take advantage of you one way or another at opportunistic times. They never do it directly, everything is indirectly and as discreet as possible.

These experiences have taught me to be cautious of people and their varied interests. These people in general are very nice people , will help you if needed, but while helping they will also see if they can benefit from it etc....
